One of the highlights of our River Run each year is having Tony from the Wisconsin DNR speak.
This year, he surprised us and "Paddled for Mel's"!
We received this note from Tony.
"I came on behalf of the Wisconsin DNR. I was treated to a lunch and t-shirt. The least I could do is donate the registration costs. Thanks for putting on this event and for having me!"

Thanks for all the boat launching help and joining all the paddlers. It was nice to see you again this year.

That's really cool. Tony is wonderful. A true asset to our community.

Bill and talked to him for quite a while about all things DNR. Tony is a great guy.
