OCONOMOWOC — First Bank Financial Centre has announced it will again be the financial sponsor for four events hosted by Mel’s Charities in 2018.
These events include Mel’s Charities Night at Kapco Park, Melapalooza, Golf Fore Mel’s and Mel’s Annual Veterans Meal following the holiday parade in Grafton.
Mel’s Charities, founded in 1999, supports nonprofit organizations with money-raising events and other funding. As the clearinghouse of philanthropy, Mel’s Charities is the vehicle by which individuals, corporations and institutions can pool and invest their gifts for the long-term benefit of Ozaukee County residents.
“FBFC’s mission is to ‘Make Lives Better’ and that’s exactly what they are doing by supporting our ‘Great Times for Great Causes,’” said Tom “Mel” Stanton, executive director for Mel’s Charities. “It will allow us to continue to impact lives in Ozaukee County.”
Jenny DeCuester, FBFC’s Grafton branch manager, said in a news release that the bank is proud to be affiliated with Mel’s Charities.
“We are excited to partner with Tom and his amazing group of volunteers again in 2018,” she said. “The team at First Bank Financial Centre had so much fun last year and are blessed to be a part of the Mel’s Charities legacy.”
